Playgrounds (Icmeler)
Seeing this information from Jan, reminded me of the surprising amount of small parks (Parki), around the old village, and at the back of the village. They are very small, but a few have one or two small play areas for children.

Thanks for the information Brian, I don't go up to the back of the old village so I know very little about what is up there, I rely on our members to keep us informed about a lot of things to do with that area.

Security Cameras in Childrens Play Areas
The council have started to put up security cameras in children's playgrounds in Icmeler & Marmaris. The cameras will be monitored 24/7 by a private security firm. For now 40 cameras will be installed. Marmaris council has said that even though the cameras are in situ it does not mean that parents should leave their children alone in playgrounds, there will also be signs erected warning parents about the safety of their children.
